Synagogue visits for schools and other organisations

The Beth Shalom Outreach team provides and coordinates educational activities for non-Jews of all ages. Beth Shalom volunteers are mostly professional teachers and educators involved in running educational activities for many years. They run school visits to the Synagogue building and teach Judaism in schools.

The most popular topics the outreach group has been teaching are: Introduction to Judaism, Shabbat at Home, Jewish Festivals, Bar/Bat Mitzvah Celebration, and other life cycle events.

Many of our educational activities were zoom-based during the pandemic. However, our in-person activities such as school visits to the Synagogue building and teaching Judaism in schools have now restarted so please do contact us through the website if you wish to discuss or arrange a synagogue or school visit.
