In a wonderful piece of interfaith outreach, Kol Echad choir sang a Concert for Peace to a full St Mary’s Church, Linton on Sunday evening, 23rd November.
This was the first performance led by new choir director Rachel Segman, since picking up the baton in September. The repertoire included many well-known Jewish liturgical pieces, including two versions of Sim Shalom, Barechu, Essa Enai, Hineh Ma Tov, Oseh Shalom among others, plus some solos from Les and Miriam.
The concert was to fundraise for new boilers for the church, and the feedback was excellent from the audience.
