The new synagogue is host to a wide variety of Jewish community activities including:
Choir – Kol Echad, the Cambridge-based choir rehearses at the shul weekly. Kol Echad brings together members from all sectors of the Cambridge community, both Jewish and non-Jewish, to sing songs in Hebrew, Yiddish and Ladino. The choir meets on the first and third Tuesdays of the month at 8.00 pm. New singers are welcome – age and level of experience is no barrier.
Dance – our Israeli dance group meets twice a month on Wednesday evenings.
Charity – The synagogue opens its doors to the homeless on a rota basis with other local churches and religious groups. To offer help with this activity, please contact us.
Drama Group – The Drama Group meets twice a month on Sunday evenings. If you would like to join, whatever your talent is, please contact us.
Book Group – The book group meets every two months in a member’s home. Members of the group read and discuss a wide range of books. New members are always welcome.
Friends in Gardening – Friends in Gardening meet on the last Monday of the month in members’ homes exchanging tips and sharing seeds and plants, followed by a chat over tea and cake.
