Beth Shalom
Beth Shalom is a thriving community with around 200 families.
Membership is open to all residents and students living in and around Cambridge who are Jewish by parental descent or who have undergone conversion by a recognised Beth Din. Children of members who are aged under 18 are automatically included in their family membership.
A number of our members have non-Jewish partners who are made very welcome, are encouraged to attend services and join in our activities and can apply for associate membership.
Students studying in Cambridge and the surrounding area are very welcome to attend services and any other Beth Shalom events.
Services
At Beth Shalom, women and men enjoy equal religious rights. Our service, in Hebrew and English, are led by members and are always followed by a communal Kiddush. We meet for Shabbat mornings, High Holy Days, festivals and a monthly Kabbalat Shabbat using the prayer books of the Movement for Reform Judaism.

Education
A pre-Cheder and Cheder group for young children and toddlers, preparing children for Bar/Bat Mitzvah and Adult Education programme with Hebrew Classes and Weekly Torah study sessions.
Library
We have a wide array of books for adults and children covering many interests, including religion, history, literature, arts, science and Israel.
Social
We hold regular social activities including a monthly Israeli film club, a book club, quiz evenings, talks, drama and musical events.
