“It’s one big warm family”. So many have said this over the years that it must be true.
Cambridge Beth Shalom is a community like no other. Where else would you find a thriving Reform community that has regular “sell out” Shabbat morning services, packed Cheder classes and tremendous participation? Beth Shalom welcomes new members. Most tasks are done by volunteers: from taking the weekly services and reading the Torah, to running Cheder classes, organising social events such as our annual quiz, talks and cultural trips to visiting the sick or cooking food for one of our famous “bring and share” kiddushim.
Ours is an amazingly diverse community which draws members from all over the world. Whether it’s in the quality of the weekly shiurs, the adult Hebrew classes, the witty and erudite sermons, the graceful readings from the Torah or the succah building. It all has a unique Beth Shalom stamp: once experienced, never forgotten. Beth Shalom is a wonderful, rich, year-round community. Come and see for yourself.
